Wow Grandpa! Look at the differences in
these costs for your medication!
Walgreens is way too expensive! |

Look Honey! Walgreens charged 400% more for my medication than
Costco! |

Too bad for Mr. Robinson, he's not going to

| WellCare fraud investigation |
| February, 2008 More... |
WellCare denied claims for member who were covered.
Sound familiar? Walgreens denied my prescriptions that
were to be paid by my Part D provider—WellCare.

Is your Medicare Part D Prescription drug plan with WellCare
Health Plans? Do you use the Walgreens Mail Service pharmacy to
obtain your maintenance medications?

Then you should read the
information on this website. WellCare is under investigation for
fraud and in February, 2008 is rumored to be for sale. The same month WellCare's headquarters was raided by the
FBI my pharmacy—Walgreens Mail Service—began invoicing me for
the retail cost of my medications as if I was no longer covered
by Medicare! Latter Walgreens charged $296 on my credit card
without my knowledge. I have no idea how they obtained the
credit card but know that I never authorized them to use it.

Then Walgreens went too far. They refused to fill my
prescription for the heart medication Benicar unless I paid full
$200 retail for it. These strange events revealed that WellCare
was in serious legal trouble. I sent USPS Certified Mail (see
receipt) to WellCare CEO Todd Farha. He never replied.
Walgreens has also ignored letters including ones sent USPS
Certified Mail. Then I learned WellCare fired the CEO (the
euphemism is "resigned") from his $5,000,000 position. The
Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Paul L.
Behrens was also fired. |

suggestive

- The chief financial officer's "2007
Stairway to Heaven" plan as
well as a document entitled
"Analysis of shorting stock."

- A copy of a check for a "Puerto Rico
Saint festival."

- Handwritten notes about "shell
companies."

- A memo called "cracking the WellCare
DaVinci Code with Payment
schedule."

- A document called "Jo-Jo phantom
accounts analysis - Florida
miscoding."

- And a letter to "get around Medicaid
requirements" as well as one
called
"docs re: possible kickback."

Todd Farha CEO (photo at right), CFO Paul Behrens and General Counsel Thaddeus Bereday
sold shares
of stock for millions just weeks before the government raids on WellCare.
All 3 men have since been fired (the official euphemism is
"resigned"). |
 |

WellCare's CFO Behrens made a whooping
$984,000 plus $300,000 in stock options for 2006. WellCare also fired their
General Counsel (euphemism for lawyer) Thaddeus Bereday. He earned
$596,000. This is nearly $7,000,000 a year for 3 employees. No
wonder Medicare is going broke.

The FBI raid, the Government's fraud investigation, the firing of the
CEO, CFO and General Counsel has caused the downgrading of the debt
rating for WellCare as reported
by Moody's. But this is all minor compared to the possible
devastating effects on WellCare members who depend upon their Part D
prescription drug plans. For me it has already meant hundreds of dollars
in invoices from Wallgreens, $296 stolen from my credit card by
Walgreens and then the refusal to provide my $200 heart medication. What
will it mean to you?

Walgreens has stopped providing medication even though I am enrolled in
a WellCare Part D prescription drug plan for 2008. Whatever
problems WellCare and Walgreens have, one thing is undeniable; Walgreens
is contractually obligated to provide medications as detailed on the
medicare.gov website. WellCare has used the medicare.gov site to enroll
members based on estimated annual medication costs and amounts to be
paid by the subscriber. When the specified pharmacy—Walgreens Mail
Service—refuses to provide medicines there may be no other option but to
file a class action lawsuit. I am currently investigating this option.
Have you also been denied your medication? Has Walgreens invoiced you
for medications that are supposed to be covered by your Medicare plan? You may send letters &
substantiating documents to the fax

WellCare Health Plans. Date of photo unknown. Is he
smiling about the $5,000,000.00 WellCare paid him in
2006 or the $3.6 million in stock he liquidated in 2007
just weeks before the FBI raid caused the share price to
plummet 84%? |

| Who is a Medicare moron? |
Medicaremoron.com is an educational resource
for Medicare Part D recipients. If you are
having problems with Medicare Part D
prescription drug plans this site may help you.

Since Part D is so new it is unclear how
problems are reported, to whom and what action
is taken. You are welcome to follow the letters
that I send to Walgreens, WellCare Health Plans,
and to Medicare.

Maybe you will be inspired by my example to
write letters that document what you believe to
be violations of the plan your provider is
supposed to follow. |
